In November 2012 Dell introduced the C1660w color laser printer with an OEM-rated print speed of 12 black pages per minute (ppm) and 10 color ppm, and a duty cycle of 30,000 per month.
The C1660w printer ships with 500 page yield “ship-with” starter cartridges (all colors). Replacement cartridges are available in 1,250 page yield black and 1,000 page yield color versions. All cartridges require a chip for the printer to operate correctly.
